"Sounds only become music when we trust our ears and let them hear." My name is Sam Llewyn and I am a singer-songwriter and band musician. I feel connected with nature, love the natural, but also the fantastic, that lives in every soulful being. With my voice and guitar I try to capture these moods and spiritual everyday moments and share them with you. I like to move between contrasts, colours and borders without pursuing a particular musical genre. So that different aesthetic experiences and perspective changes become possible. I would like to pass on and enable listeners to have their own formative experiences in the moment of music.

Biography
Sam Llewyn aka Samuel Marti, born 1992 in Aarau (Switzerland), grew up in Birrwil (Seetal) and currently lives in a shared flat in the capital of the canton of Aargau. When he was about 10 years old, he attended guitar lessons for the first time during primary school. His passion for music and songwriting arose especially in his youth, when he started singing and working in a band. The music lessons at the upper school with Rudolf Lehnherr were fundamental. Sam then deepened these interests in grammar school by choosing music as a supplementary subject and attending singing and instrumental lessons. 3 years classical singing education (Sabine Kaipainen) and 2 years jazz oriented singing education (Karin Hebeisen) at the PH Luzern trained and shaped Sam Llewyn's voice. During his training as a secondary teacher, he continues to play in various band formations and projects. Especially songwriting and lyric writing are very busy in his private life. At the end of 2018 Sam Llewyn decides to go public with his music and to share his passion for music and his songs with his listeners via realistic themes and moods.
